The Broye Aeropole is a network
of business partners and regional organizations that
is continually expanding. Four capitals, Payerne,
Estavayer-le-Lac, Avenches and Moudon, but one unified
region full of promise for the future. Centrally located
in Switzerland and bridging the Vaud and Fribourg
cantons, the Broye currently numbers 99 communes and
56,000 residents.
Each of the four districts maintains their own
association of communes. These associations are,
in turn, members of COREB, the regional community
of the Broye to whom they delegate a large proportion
of their activities, notably their regional secretariat
offices and economic matters in general.
Regional politics, economic development, education,
health and environmental matters are all equally
areas in which COREB plays major roles for the development
of the inter-cantonal Broye, which is served by
one of Europe’s major road transport axes,
the A1 / E25 motorway.
There are essentially three types of companies involved
in the Broye Aeropole.
